This 2002 Lotus Esprit V8 25th Anniversary Edition celebrates twenty-five years of the Esprit nameplate. It is one of 100 numbered examples produced for the North American market.

My son, Marc De Vellis, acquired the car in 2006 from Lotus Cars USA Inc.

Powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged Lotus Type 918 V8, with 32 valves and double overhead camshafts, it represents a very different chapter of the Esprit story from our 1978 car.

Today, it remains factory original with only 5,000 miles—another collectible we are proud to have in the family.
