This website is operated by Marcello De Vellis for the De Vellis Private Collection, under the De Vellis Auto Center Ltd. name. This notice explains how information is used when you visit, share a collection or participate in the Collectors’ Lounge.
Information you share
When you sign in with ChatGPT, the site receives an account identifier and email address to check access and manage permissions. Uploads include the name, vehicle details, story and photos you provide. If you are interested in selling, you may also provide an asking price, vehicle location and contact details. We record your sharing permission and submission date.
Lounge discussions include your display name, post or reply, its date and your account identifier. Approved uploader and lounge member email addresses are retained to manage access. We use this information to provide these features, review contributions, respond to enquiries and maintain the site.
Private submissions and Guest Collections
New submissions go to Marcello’s private inbox. Your name, story and photos may be featured in Guest Collections only when you check the sharing-permission box and Marcello chooses to publish them. The site is currently private; featured collections are visible to people with site access. Selling fields, email addresses and account identifiers are not included in Guest Collections.
Please avoid putting private contact information, addresses or information about other people inside a story or photo you permit us to feature. Photos can contain identifying details or embedded metadata; the upload feature does not strip that metadata. Share only material you have permission to provide.
Hiding a collection removes it from Guest Collections but keeps the submission in the private inbox. Permanent deletion removes that submission, its photos, story and selling details from the site’s live storage. Contact Marcello if you wish to withdraw permission or request deletion.
Collectors’ Lounge
If you request membership, we store your name, signed-in email, account identifier, introduction, request date and approval status so Marcello can review and manage your request. Only Marcello can view the request list. Requesting membership does not grant access. Requests remain until no longer needed for membership administration; contact Marcello to ask for removal.
Only approved lounge members can read discussions and post replies. Your display name and contributions are visible to those members. Removing a post hides it from the lounge; its underlying record may remain stored. Removing membership blocks access but does not automatically delete earlier contributions. Contact Marcello for a data-removal request. Other members may keep copies of content they have already seen.
Traffic counter and browser storage
The private traffic counter stores daily totals for each counted page. It does not store visitor names, email addresses, account identifiers, IP addresses or browsing profiles, and uses no analytics cookies. Counts include repeat views and the owner’s visits; they are not unique-visitor counts.
The site uses browser storage to remember preferences such as photo arrangements and a lounge display name. You can clear these through your browser’s site-data settings. ChatGPT sign-in and hosting may use their own cookies and technical records to operate and secure the service.
Hosting and service providers
The website uses OpenAI’s ChatGPT Sites service, with Cloudflare database and file-storage infrastructure. These providers process information needed to host, authenticate and operate the site. Their infrastructure may process technical information, such as network addresses and service logs, separately from our page-view counter. We do not promise that information is stored only in Canada.
Information is not sold or used by this site for targeted advertising. It may be shared with providers needed to operate the service, with your permission, or when required by law. For OpenAI’s own practices, see the OpenAI Privacy Policy.
Retention and your choices
Submissions, permissions and membership records remain until removed or no longer needed for the site’s collection and community features. Aggregate traffic totals are retained for comparison over time. Hosting-provider retention and backup practices are governed separately by their service terms.
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, withdraw permission to feature a collection, or raise a privacy concern. Other rights may apply under the privacy laws relevant to you. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
